In collaboration with ArtEZ Press and Werkplaats Typografie Deneuve has made a publication of the Mondrian Lecture by Charles Jencks, entitled Can Architecture Affect Your Health, which he held in 2010 in the Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ at the ceremony of the Sikkens Prize. Jencks gives insight in the philosophy behind the Maggie’s Centres, special care centers for cancer patients. These centers are characterized, among other things, by a special architecture of international celebrities such as Zaha Hadid, Rem Koolhaas and Frank Gehry. Landscape and garden architect Charles Jencks writings include The Language of Postmodern Architecture (1977), The Architecture of the Jumping Universe (1995) and Critical Modernism (2007).
The book Can Architecture Affect Your Health has been published on behalf of the Sikkens Foundation (ISBN 978-94-91 444-01-2 NUR 648).
